Its been happening for a week now. It's happened before, maybe a year ago, but not as bad as this.
I get this pain, a deep pain where I imagine my kidneys are. It feels as if I was hit very hard in that area. It only hurts when I am laying down for the night and it seems to only be there when I wake up. In other words, it is not there when I go to bed and fall asleep, only in the morning. I am kind of scared. I will ask my Dr about it, but it will take a week before I see him.
Anyone else get this pain? What could it be?

I asked my wife and she recommends sleeping with a pillow under your knees while on your back or between your legs while on your side. It might just be back pressure from your sleep position but it could be a kidney infection.

Does it hurt when you pee?
It could be kidney stones. Go to another doctor. call your provider and check for another doctor.
Good luck and don't worry..you will be fine.
Fell better

I do sleep with a pillow between my knees. Two years ago I had elevated liver enzimes, and the DR sent me for an MRI and saw that I had a fatty liver and possibly some obstructed ducts. But after several blood tests, he concluded that it might be my normal state.
I do not have pain while peeing, but I have been peeing more than usual the past few days and its more yellow than usual. Could it be blood? Its not red, but darker yellow..
Also, it always goes away as soon as I get up. Right now I feel nothing wrong.

Hey...call another doctor...don't wait for your doctor....he is bullshit. Never heard of a doctor who hears a patient has some sort of pain and I will see you in a week...go to a different doc.
Good luck and try to not let it drive you nuts. You will be fine.
SEYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have a little blood in your piss, it could also be a kidney stone. That happens sometimes.

The pain of passing kidney stones is apparently on par with giving birth.
I'd have it checked out.

perhaps your symptons are related to your enviroment. True Story. I had to endure a horrendous pain in the neck for years. Morning, noon and night I suffered but it went away after the divorce.
