It's that time of year again. Booze, babes and benders!

Date: December 15, 2007

Place: Studio B in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY
259 Banker St.
Brooklyn, NY

Time: 9pm

Cover charge: This is no cover charge if you tell them at the door you are there for the RonFez.Net X-Mas Party.

More details will be posted early this week, but I wanted to get it out there now, since we are a little late in the announcement due to mitigating circumstances.

And feel free to repost this anywhere you want. All fans, friends, messageboards and anyone who just wants to have a good time are invited.

Directions to Studio B:
By car:
Take the Williamsburg Bridge outside lane to the very first exit in Brooklyn, bear right on Broadway, follow Broadway to Berry, right turn on Berry. Head straight up to N15th street and turn left go straight and then bear right on Banker st.

L Train:
Bedford stop, walk one block west to Berry make right turn on Berry head straight to N15th street make a left on to N15th go one block then bear right on to Banker

Car service in the area would be Northside Car Service 718 387 2222

Parking:
Parking is right in front of venue, it's all legal, and no time limit and plentiful and another good spot is between Norman and Mesarole.Please let everyone know that parking is not an issue.

I know a while back, you ran out of guys from the board to bang, but theres alot of new ones now...and like 3 more boards, and Jon invited them all! If the guy doesnt know about Ron and Fez already, he aint worth the trouble. Do it the old fashioned way, keep it in the family.

Our big parties are never at Bar 9. I'm also gonna try to do some board events at other bars during the year, like Calico Jack's, which is too small for the X-Mas party but a great bar that we have a good relationship with.

I was told near the L and G trains. It's not a long walk, but you can pay a couple bucks for car service to and from the stop. I'll have the details on that on Monday when the event planner is back in her office.

Yeah, Williamsburg is a very hip, trendy area now. The club we are in had LCD Soundsystem play over the summer, hosted the Daft Punk post show party, had other major bands play there (you can see old fliers on the website), etc.

there are no lots in the general area ... there should be ample parking along franklin street or manhattan avenue, proabably the side streets too ... just watch for the churches, drive way and hydrants that seem to pop up every five feet

it's technically greenpoint, not williamsburg ... very safe -- there's a police station a few blocks away

the L stop at bedford is a hell of a walk on a december nite ... you're better off taking the G to either greenpoint avenue or nassau avenue -- the club's pretty much in the middle of both stops

you could catch the G off the L at lorimer (next stop after bedford); or at queens plaza or court square

if you wanna grab some great/cheap polish food, try christina's on manhattan ave (between milton and noble) ... the best thai is the thai cafe on manhattan ave between kent and java ... for pizza LA's mini pie is amazing (right off greenpoint/manhattan)

all three are right near the greenpoint ave stop on the G line

if you're determined to brave the 15-20 minute walk from bedford ave ... stop off at the wretched turkey's nest for their cheap gigantic styrafom cup of beer ... just stay away from the rodent infested muggs and planet thai is way, way overrated

there're a multicultural bonanza of food & drink choices for pre and post event gatherings

If you find me a train that goes from western NJ to brooklyn, and will get me back home again, i'll gladly take it. Even if i wanted to take the 5 trains it would take me to do that, i would have to leave the party by 10:30 to make the last train home.

But if that parking lot missy mentioned is fer real, and doesn't close at 12 i'll be a very happy camper indeed!

i live too far north east in queens to have any sort of subway near me. the closest is a 15 minute drive & it's the 7 train & that's the worst out of all of them. it would probably be a 25 minute drive to the bar & probably a 2 hour trip if i went by train. the mta hates queens.

anyways, i dunno if i'm gonna be able to make the party though, got a birthday party at ace that night.

I am really trying to go to the party. If I do I am going to eat at "Pies and Thighs" a little hole in the wall joint @ south 5th and Kent ave. they do authentic southern cooking. The fried chicken is unbelievable and they make delicious pies hence the name.

Missy (or any other Islanders), you can take the LIRR to Brooklyn, instead of Penn Station.
The station is a relatively short cab ride to the party.

I think this party will be the first of many, to start a renaissance of Brooklyn Parties. I think the laid back and spacious atmosphere is going to be a nice change for all of us. On top of that we may actually go somewhere that women can dance at. Wouldn't that be nice? I tell you this is going to be fun.
