No - it was based on an after-show, back office impression that Sam did over a year ago. It's based on an effeminate news reporter and how some effeminate guys try a little too hard to show they are masculine.

Steve made Sam do a WOW promo as AJ, then later O&A brought him in to do the bit live.

I don't think he hates bears, but is willing to bash them for comedic value.

Jimmy has mentioned being disgusted by watching footage of a chicken slaughterhouse, how heinously they are treated, and how he almost became vegetarian because of it, but later talked about how chickens deserve everything they get because they are stupid and won't try to save themselves (they replayed that rant recently during an FM commercial break). He really doesn't have any limits.
