Have you ever bought shoes online? It can be risky when it comes to size. Not all brands fit the same. My size varies by at least a full size with some shows, and for my son, it can be a size and a half.

I have some big ass feet (13 or 14, depending on brand), so for sneaks, I used to rely on Eastbay. I've ordered from some other places, but I found them after I settled on a style and was just looking for the best price. What kind of shoe are you looking for?

Like zentread, I've also tried Eastbay. They can sometimes have some good deals on running shoes. Particularly if you look for the recently discontinued shoes. I got a great deal last year, but as I said in my last post, the size can be tricky. Mine were a bit snug.

Zappos is pretty good. . .although I didn't have the best experience with their customer service the one time I called them. The guy I got was a real snot.

The free shipping specials are great because that will save you a few bucks and they usually get to your address pretty quickly.

In order to qualify for returns at most online vendors, make sure that when you try your shoes on to only wear them inside. . .some places (like Road Runner Sports) recommend only wearing them on carpeted areas in your home before you decide to keep or return them.

If the shoes don't fit well, Zappos has an online form where you can print a pre-paid return label. . . quick, easy and no hassles with phones.

My mom orders from Eastbay all the time and has been pretty impressed with their service.

You can also try Onlineshoes.com, but I find their selection is pretty lame compared to Zappos.

henry (http://www.htleather.co.uk/) makes some great leather bags, but for shoes a simple gap cloth bag will do the trick. Kenneth cole shoes are generally very poorly made. for similar money johnston and murphy are infinitely better.

i disagree Kenneth Cole NY shoes are actually made pretty damn well, Kenneth Cole Reaction shoes are not made well at least from my experience. The NY brand is more money as well.

Johnston and Murphys are good i cant wear them though they are made too wide for my foot. Alot of Johnston and murphy shoes are also rubber soles which suck ass. Some Kenneth Coles are as well.

i've never seen a kc without a rubber sole, granted i haven't looked recently. i think that's a lot of the problem i had with them. friends had them and the soles would separate from the body in a month or two.
