Agreed. But on Expert, the rhythm patterns agree note for note with the music. And in GH3, the hammer-ons and pull-offs are also exact. I've played piano and saxophone and I can play the guitar hero games just by looking at the colors and kind of mentally syncing them to what I hear.

I was trying it for the first time at Best Buy and it was kinda cheesy but fun. But this fuckin' frat boy came up like he didn't know what he was doing and then turned to the hardest song and just started showing off. What a douche.
