Anthony rips off Ron and Fez

Yesterday they did a bit on a battle royal with the religions (Ron and Fez bit that was a best of recently).
About a month ago he did a bit on football picks with which mascot would win in a real fight. (Another R&F bit that was part of best of right around the same time)
Or the how O&A did the bit on how many 10 year olds they could beat up and the segment about beating up animals.


A lot of those times Anthony did it nearly word for word. I know Anthony is not doing it on purpose but it is just funny to see Anthony do what all of us do with our posts and in our life...rip off ron and fez without realizing it.

It is funny to hear Ant repeat Ron and Fez material. I agree that it is probably unconcious and I myself have introduced topics from the show without realizing it until after the fact. Ron is genius and so is Ant. It does indicate how much Ant listens to R&F.

Next thing you know O&A will have a contest where interns have to have sex live on the show. If that happens, all I can say is Frankusssss!!!!!!!

The mascot fight thing isn't something that Ron and Fez created. I've heard that for years, when talking about how women would choose certain football teams when involved in a pool.

Same thing with the "which religion would win" thing.

I like Ron and Fez's spin on these topics, but they didn't start with them.

The boys and buddays do a combined forty hours of radio a week-- some similar topics are bound to come up.

Aaaaaaaaand both shows are bound to have a more similar take on things compared to O&A and your Loper and Smittys, Mancows, etc.

Around 2000 or 2001, I worked at a place where they had a football pool and did the mascot thing as a goof. I won twice, so it works sometimes...

i agree...i notice this from time to time from both ends...its obvious that they listen to eachothers shows and both have somewhat the same type of humor...actually if you go back to yesterday ron was talking about news reporters interviewing local residents...which is a bit jimmy has been doing lately but is also something a lot of people notice as being stupid...just simply bound to happen once in a while

If you are doing "hot talk" for 5 hours a day...you are going to cover similiar topics and have cross-overs in approach to material.

I don't listen to O&A much but I heard them the other day and could have sworn that I heard Anthony throw out a very Dave like "Face!" I thought it was funny because he probably picked it up without knowing it.

I heard that and I'm pretty sure he did it as an almost homage to Dave. Anthony has a very good memory I'm sure he remembers where he got it.
