One Nine Nine Four is an upcoming "documentary exploring the birth, growth and eventual tipping point of punk rock during the 90's". Produced by the independent Australian company 'Robot Academy Films', the movie is currently filming and is expected to be released in early 2008. The bulk of the film's content will consist of band interviews and archive footage.[3]

The film will be narrated by skateboarder Tony Hawk and will feature interviews and footage of various bands and figures in the punk scene including Dexter Holland from The Offspring, Tim Armstrong from Rancid and "Fat" Mike Burkett from NOFX.

1991 - The Year Punk Broke

And I'm sparing you young folk by not going all Blowhard on you and ranting how punk was dead by the time The Clash finally got popular.
