I woke up today with horrible allergies. I must have gone through half a roll of paper towels blowing my horrible nose. Then the headache started, that sinus rotting above the eyes headache. Finally, a verticle strip of kaleidoscope insanity has appeared in my vision now and again. I guess my point is that it is amazing how miserbale the most trifling matter can make me.

You ever get the strip of vibrating kaleidoscope in your eye? I was worried about brain issues for a second.

This may sound crazy, but it works for me sometimes.
When I'm doing the dishes at work, I sometimes have to wash a bucket that had hot wing sauce in it. When I spray it out with a hot water hose, the hot sauce vaporizes and I hold my face over the bucket. It's a hell of a choker at first, but it drains that nose out in seconds.
Maybe you can figure some way to duplicate this at home with a bowl or something.

Yeah, vaporized capsaicin does wonders for clearing the sinuses. I make a type of spicy olive tapenade that is a minum of 50% serrano peppers, and when you cook it, it's like a mild dose of pepper spray throughout the house. Unfortunately, it deosn't seem to help sinus infections, which I apparently have. King Hippo, it looks exactly like diamonds in a kaleidoscope. Good call.

I had sinusitis about a year and a half ago. Z-Pack didn't do jack shit for me. I was sick for weeks and I couldn't breathe through my nose AT ALL for a month (which meant waking up every morning with a tongue that feels like sandpaper because you've literally dried it out breathing through your mouth all night)... and the residual effects basically are still present to this day.
All in all, sinusitis sucks a fat dick.

Dude...sinus shit sucks. My chick and I have it right now. We are trying different drugs to open up the passages and none are working!

I think I dodged the bird on this one. I woke up with only normal amounts of mucous and a minor headache. I may be becoming a superhero.

I had some Hot & Sour Soup with extra hot oil, spicy food usually clears them up a bit.

Hot and Sour soup, followed by inhalaccion. ( a tablespoon or 2 of Vick's in a bowl, with boiling water added and a towel over your head and the bowl.)

I thought I had a brain tumor a couple years back. Luckily, it turned out to be a retaining cyst in my left sinus cavity. Little fucker makes me incredibly succeptable to sinus problems...I get at least one sinus infection every winter. If you can get your doctor to give you Astelin and/or Rhinocourt nasal sprays, GET THEM.

Every time I get a cold it turns into a sinus infection. I shouldn't have snorted coke all those years! Totally wrecked my sinuses.
