why does orange juce give me violent indigestion and oranges dont

so i cant drink orange juce at all
with the acids i just cant keep it down

but for some reason i love oranges and i have no problem with em
is it because whenever i have orange juce its with alcohol
or do they add acid to orange juce

it is the number # 1 non for people with gastritis, acid reflux or a hiatal hernia, if you a lil overweight , drink and eat unhelfy, you are a sure win for acid reflux. Orange Juice and Tomato Sauce are the 2 arch enemies of acid reflux

Probably for the same reason fruit juice is worse for diabetics: there is no fiber to slow down the absorption of sugar, or in this case, citric acid.

Exactly. Also it is concentrated. Orange juice is not all that healthy.

Tropicana makes a "low acid" orange juice. Same price as the regular, and it tastes pretty good. I don't really have bad reflux or heartburn issues but if I want a tall glass of OJ without eating any food I gotta go with the low acid or there's about a one in five chance of agida.

I take St. Josephs baby aspirin every morning. I can't take adult aspirin. I get heatburn from that little baby pill every morning.
