Newark airport was the most insane thing I have ever seen this morning. There were no lines, just mobs of people everywhere. I had to slip a Skycap about $150 to bust through to the front of the check in lines, get our bags tagged, and allow us to get to the security lines. It was worth every penny. We were in what we hoped was the right line for over an hour and had moved about 20 feet. Lines went from one end of terminal C to the other. It was nuts.

But we made it, so I am now on the shore of Grand Cayman. It's humid, around 75 degrees, and a light breeze is blowing.

we get just enuf snow here to make the slopes fun but not enuf to make the trip there a hassel,last year we had so much snow that i couldnt even leave until the plows finally got to the side streets and i like to make a few runs as the sun comes up,i love snow again!

Tired and achy.
Got home from work, did 2 hours a home. Threw some shovels in the car and di an hour and a half at St. John's.
Then the plows finally came by and blocked in the driveway. Dug that out, then they came by again. Dug out again.

Another foot yesterday on top of the 2 feet we got over the weekend. And the drifts blocked the entrance to my garage.

I have no idea how much additional snow we got, but however much it was, we ran out of room in our yard to heap it. There are still plowbanks in front of our mailbox and I haven't heard the mail truck yet, although the street looks less like a bobsled run than it did at 7am.

We saw the driveway pavement for the first time in days this morning after the sun came out.

But, apparently, the major roads are clear but wet, so we didn't do too badly, all things considered.

Oh, and we still have power & heat, which is more than my mom had - hers went out on Saturday.

On the drive in today I must have passed 10-15 cars of lazy asses who didn't clear the snow off the roof of their car. Come on people, let's get with it.
