This is in response to someone who had the Florida Marlins listed as one of the choices as the Worst Franchise ....
so I ask you:

Who Is The Best Sports mascot of All Time?

To me, there is nothing better than Billy the Marlin. He's ridiculous, has a crazy look on his face and I have witnessed his pointed marlin nose-spear make 2 kids cry as well as knock several cokes/hotdogs and popcorn out of people's hands.

Also, if this thread has been started already----Big deal; it's worth another glance.

I remember going to a Giants game at Candlestick at the end of July and I froze my balls off. But my friend, who lives in San Francisco, told me about the Giants anti-mascot. It was a crab and fans were encouraged to verbally abuse it, not to mention pelt it with whatever they could find. It was the insane.
