Worthless Super Heroes

All of this Aquaman talk has got me thinking....who are, in your opinion, some of the worthless super heroes out there? The ones that just didn't make sense, or who were just too lame to be of any good use?

For example, I'd pick "The Falcon", Captain America's black friend. The guy hangs out with a bird, and flies around on big dopey wings. How is this supposed to strike fear into the hearts of evil doers?

I personally just think he was stuck in there so Captain America didn't look like quite the white supremacist he appeared to be.

Did anyone ever see that SNL where Sinbad hosted and they did a sketch where Superman died. Well all the superheros showed up to his funeral, and Sinbad came as a black superhero that didn't exist. It was such a funny sketch....Anyone else seen it?
Anyway, my worhtless superhero has to be "The Flash", come on, all he can do is run fast.

I agree with Pinellis, the Flash is pretty worthless. What the hell kind of super power is running fast?
But I have to say, I do like the extra powers they've been giving him the last couple of years. So maybe Aquaman's worthless. Talking to fish isn't so hot a power either.
I'm gonna stop blathering now.

There has been to many Mr. Marvel's in that universe. Quasar was a putz and i believe he was killed. There would always be someone else to be the next mr. marvel.

Definitely Aquaman and the Wonder Twins. Most of DC Comics characters are far too one dimensional.

Marvel has always had better characters and portrayed their outer strengths and inner weaknesses.

Hell, Powered Toastman from Ren & Stimpy is better than any of the DC Comic heroes.

In the 70's, there were 12" dolls made by Mego (Heckler can back me up on this :) ), and one of their lines were superheroes, both Marvel and DC. In one comercial, they go through a list of Marvel heroes, say how great they are, what their power is, etc. The last doll they show is The Falcon and the voice-over says "And that great black superhero, The Falcon." If that's the best you can do to promote him, then he really is worthless.

The New Mutants, Green Arrow, Hawkeye (At least he didn't have, that great DC Cliche, a boxing glove arrow), Black Panther, Power Man & Iron Fist, Hands of Kung Fu, Black Vulcan, all of the DC "Kid Side Kicks" (including all of the The Teen Titans, Legion of Superheroes, and Infinity Inc.) Jack of Hearts, and the Female Capt. Marvel, what a complete abortion!

Come to think of it, Aquman isn't that bad after all!
