Today some folks were calling telling their celeb autograph stories. One night at the Jermain Taylor/Bernard Hopkins fight in Vegas I had my picture taken with Burt Young, the guy who played Pauly in Rocky, Michael Rapaport, Ed Lover, Sly Stallone, Derek Jeter and a couple other folks. Rapaport and Ed Lover were great. Ed actually recognized me as the loudest guy at ringside and we talked but Stallone's body guard shoved me for asking for the picture and I had to beg Jeter like a schoolgirl.

Do you want encounters or just autograph stories?

Well on Monday, I ran into Michael Ian Black. I was at my favorite soup restaurant in Manhattan, and I saw him walking by on his cell phone up to the street corner. As he's waiting for the crosswalk to turn green, I pop my head out of the restaurant and yell out "Michael Ian Black... I love Stella". He turns quick to me, waves, goes "thank you", and goes right back to talking on his phone.

Did you tell him that you're going to be an intern for Ron and Fez?

Sweet! I also spent some time with John Daly, Darius Rucker and the curly haired guy from Hootie and the Blowfish on Daly's motor home once. John used to put on a charity golf tourney that I played in, the Hootie guys would play in the tourney and a show later. We had Vip seats in the last one and wound up backstage. When John got bored he goes "fuck this, let's go to the RV" so we obliged and got FUCKED UP while they played guitars and we all sang Michael Row the Boat Ashore. I also had my pic taken with Steve Atwater (hall of fame Denver Bronco safety) the same night. Nice guy.

Bill Murray sat directly in front of me at a couple of Giants- Bears games. He got real loud and obnoxious when the Bears took the lead. I got his autograph. I have no idea where it is, I think its in the drawer in the kitchen.

Not to nitpick, because he was a beast, but Steve Atwater is not in the Hall of Fame.

Back in 1987, I was responsible for driving Don Criqui and Pistol Pete Maravich from their hotel to the University of Houston for a basketball game. Maravich, who was sitting in front next to me, was a health nut and brought his own juices and food while Criqui lit up a big old stoogie in the back seat. Maravich then rolls his window down and starts screaming, "This guy is trying to kill me." I was wondering how I would explain that one to the cops if I got pulled over.

Captiva Island, Fl., 1996. I rented a sail boat for the day. Went to pick it up and Tom Selleck was there. He had reserved the same boat although my reservation was made a month previous. Magnum got the boat. I was disappointed but not pissed. Saw him at the Mucky Duck that night, he came to our table, shook my hand, chatted up the table and picked up the tab. Nice guy.

I met Harry Anderson (Night Court) when I was in 7th or 8th grade. He was at the local university for a comedy show and stopped by KMart for some toiletries. He was extremely nice and signed an autograph - unfortunately I don't know where it is now.

The only autograph that I have and care about is Neil Armstrong. I sent him a letter when I was in elementary school, and he sent me an autographed picture and several other NASA space program shots. It was cool as a kid, but now that I am older I REALLY awestruck that I have the autograph of a real American legend.

The pic he signed is similar to this:

When me and my friends were passing through the Meatpacking District looking for sumpin to do, some girls gave us a tip off that Marilyn Manson was eating inside a restaurant I had no business being in. So I walked and he was easy to spot, the host then came forward to politely ask me to leave so I made like I was gonna go left and then faked him out right and approached Manson's table. I then stood there realizing I'm not a fan of his and don't want an autograph but I don't hate him so I pulled out my tourist issue disposable camera and asked him in a friendly manner to give me the finger. He just laughed and continued to eat his bowl of odd leaves, but his wife and other goth friends took me up on my request. So now I have a picture of him laughing into his salad bowl while everyone else at the table are angrily giving me the finger. I then walked out and nodded my hat to the host for his courtesy. I have it on my comp at home somewhere.

Later that same night around 3-4, I had scored a bag of bagels that was dropped off at some store before it had opened, so we were tossin them out the window at pedestrians and cars on the cab ride home, got off on 42nd near our hotel. I was drunk, drinking a 40 of OE with a bagel around the spout when I saw Meatloaf and some woman walking across the street. So I launch my last bagel across 42nd(I think it was 6 lanes wide), it goes high and the aerodynamics of a bagel make it curve back toward the target and it hits him square in the back of his head. My friend was still on the other side of the street waiting to cross when this happened. He said his his hair flew forward over his face, turns around shocked and confused, looks around and I hear him ask "W....What was that, was it a bird? A bird just hit me in the head!" Like Ron and Dave discussed once, it was just one of those impossible throws that was a million to one but just seemed destined to hit him in the head. I can't 100% guarantee it was Meatloaf because I don't have a picture.

The next night I saw Lou Diamond Phillips leavin the hogs and heffers and it was uneventful.

It wasn't really a celebrity sighting but I did play in a flag football game in college that was officiated by a future NFL Hall of Famer - Ronnie Lott.

Future hall of famer at worst. I'll never forget him knocking Christian Okoye (sp?) right on his big ass on Monday Night Football. I told him that when I met him. I should hire a fact checker.

Ronny Lott had part of his finger removed in order to miss less games than having it saved and played the next week. I'd consider him a celebrity; I think professional athletes qualify.

i told this a long while back, a month before he was arrested i met nick nolte. 4 a.m. in his pajamas he came down to the front desk. he looked exactly like this the entire time he was at the hotel:

http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/nick-nolte.jpg

we had a chat about porn and where he could find a porn shop to buy some. almost as surreal as warren zevon chatting with one of the front desk girls about interior decorating, shortly before he died.

A few weeks ago I saw Hank Azaria walking up 7th avenue... I guess he was headed up to the theater for the show he's in.

He was kind of short, but he had the most amazing skin. He had a few wrinkles, but his skin really had a glow to it. Gorgeous skin.

I just did a shoot with Ashley Tisdale. I had no clue who she was. When she arrived I tried to direct her and her mom to sit with the rest of the Extras...SILLY ME!
