you pick 2 a list golfers and start only one

i dont know what version you played but in the yahoo league it is as i above stated


no money limit, no trades, everyone can pick the same guys , theres a 10 start limit on all golfers

you recieve points based on how well the guy you started finished behind the overall leader

so if your guy is the leader for that round you would get 20 points for that round

This league is done through www.sportingnews.com. I played in it last year and it's a lot of fun. It's a little more challenging becasue of the "salary cap" but it won't make your brain hurt.
Each player is assingned a monetary value base on their performance. Tiger Woods will be the most expensive player and so on down the list. You will start the year with a full roster of your chosing and 3 available trades.

"Buy" four players to go on your roster for Thursday, week 1. We'll say 3 out of the 4 make the Friday cut. You can use 1 trade to sell the underperforming player and buy a new one. Your four man team plays the weekend.

By Monday afternoon you'll see your player's values increase or decrease base on their performance. By Wednesday you'll know which players are starting the next tourney Thursday. If all of them aren't playing this week you can use trades to sell the players who aren't playing and buy some that are.

You can leave your roster the same four guys all year or buy and sell the same guy as many times as your trades will allow. The only two things governing your roster are your salary cap and number of remaining trades. being a league with cash prizes you can buy more trades from the website if you get that far into it.

Scoring is a best ball scenario. Your four players all play the same holes but might all score differently. You'll get the lowest of your player's scores.

I love how tight the top of the league is. I did alot better day 2 but it stayed really tight. This is gonna make for a fun year. And although it somewhat hurts those 3 who forgot, they also have a long year, and since points arent insane, they have plenty of time to get back in. Plus chances are we will all forget or fuck up at least 1 time

messing up so early doesnt kill you but it puts you in a hole

yea its really easy. You can only start a guy 10 times a year though. If you take a guy and dont end up putting him in for any rounds, then it doesnt use a start. But if he plays even 1 round that week, it counts as one of your 10 starts

I think the big years this year are gonna be tiger (obviously) then bitch tits, vijay cause he plays so much, and i think furyk and stricker are going to stay consistant. Look for mike weir to challenge at the masters and have a good start to the season but fall off over the summer

Not that I could make it but get the buddays involved and turn it into a charity tourney. It wouldn't have to be anything crazy but they're amazingly easy to organize and a lot of fun. A buddy of mine started a tourney three years ago and we had over 100 guys this year.
