On his most recent visit, he said, a waitress gave him and his wife's cousin, 44-year-old Michael Borrelli, a bill for $46.40, roughly double the buffet price for two adults.

"She says, 'Y'all fat, and y'all eat too much,'" Labit said.

Labit and Borrelli said they felt discriminated against because of their size. "I was stunned, that somebody would say something like that. I ain't that fat, I only weigh 277," Borrelli said, adding that a waitress told him he looked like he a had a "baby in the belly."


Good for this restaurant taking a stand against these fat fucks. I just went out to dinner with my parents for New Years and they will only go to buffets. Even though they have more money than god they like to go to this one place where for $17.00 they can gorge themselves on rancid oysters and peel and eat shrimp with the shit vein still in 'em. Me, I've still got the shits, two days later.

I HATE buffets. My mother-in-law likes a Chinese one on Hylan Blvd (do you know it Hippo?), so we go sometimes. Everytime we go, I just get one plate and I still have to pay full price (and rightfully so). Why should excessive eaters pay extra? The restaurant broke the goddamn buffet law.

What the fuck is your problem? Have I EVER had ANY interaction of any kind with you on this board? Have I ever accused you of having a "who cares" thread that no one replied to? I'm sorry that the subject matter of this particular thread did not meet your exacting comedic standards. I'll redouble my efforts to please you in the future. Might I suggest that should you encounter another thread that you do not care for then you might just want to ignore it rather than get your blood pressure up needlessly.

Also, if you read through the lines of my original post you would find my real objection to buffets. I think that they are a symptom of our hayseed society that values quantity over quality. If you think I'm a dick for feeling this way then go ask Mr. Ronnie Two Bucks how he feels about buffets.

As for the thread title: it is a reference to a John Pinette comedic bit which is about 15 years old and describes this situation to a tee, right down to the broken English speaking Chinese waitress. I saw irony in that fact and found it to be funny. Again, I'm so sorry that it did not reach the level of "funny" that you have set for all of us here. Good day to you, sir.
