View Full Version : Will Dave and Casey try for a second child?

Now that their first child is almost here and the excitement is dying down will Dave and Casey be trying for a second child? Do you think they will plan on it or will they just wait and see what happens?

Any over/under bets yet for when they will announce the second one?

i'm pretty sure it's a one at a time type deal. Unless she has some sort of magical uterus.

So women can't get double pregnant? I thought that's where twins came from. So confusing.

I'm just saying once you are carrying a child(ren) you can't get pregnant again while you're already pregnant. aww forget it.

There, there, I was aware, I liked the magic womb line.

I was just trying to think like Jezo. I had my Jezo hat on. Anyone who wears it immediately starts to confuse people and then people question their sexuality. The leave britney spears alone kid also has one. Hot item.

I am thinking it's a tad bit too early to be speculating about a second child already.

Plus it really isnt any of our business

What is the point where having another doesn't make a difference?

I mean if you have 4 kids, might as well have 6, or when you have 2, you might as well have 3. Or is it too obvious I have none?

ScottFromGA

well....Casey could have twins....so maybe they have the first and second baby in one huge birthing experience!

Isnt May the due date? How is that almost here? I'm pretty sure they are still talking about the first,so there may be some excitement left in this one.

Maybe this is or isn't the right place for this post but here goes

Am I the only one that hopes that the Ron and Fez Show doesn't continue to be the Dave and Caseys baby/pregnancy watch?

I love Dave on the show but nothing is more tedious than listening to people, any people drone on about their pregnancies. We get it your having a baby and its a big deal. My wife had two children my mom had 4 kids that lived. Its not all that fascinating.

Casey Elan, you gotta think positve! We all know that you are going to be a great mother, hell, you raised Dave to be a man - just kidding . look, the only thing that you can do is just roll with it, because what will happen will happen. Fate will bring you health and happiness!

Everything will be great in '08!

Don't get me wrong I mean no disrespect I hope and pray for you both to have a health happy baby. And NOONE wants to jinx it. I was just saying that baby and pregnancy talk is tedious for all the rest of those not involved.
I personally am overjoyed for your great news it is the greatest gift you can be given and you and Dave deserve the best. From a radio point of view its like when my father in law starts talking about the exciting world of Insurance my eyes glaze over.

Frankly, i think it should be talked about. i mean, it seems like Dave doesnt know all that he needs to know before his first child comes, and that is ok now, because it is still early in the pregnancy. Ron is telling him and showing him what to do, and its great to hear it. i am sure that there are alot of fathers to be listening and really taking in most of what Ron is saying.

look, the whole thing is great, and i am happy that they are talking about it on the air.

I kind of like it. Maybe part of it is that I know Dave and Casey, and maybe part is that I can relate to it. However, I also enjoy it because at least the conversation is made entertaining. Rather than just talking about having babies, they at least take a comedic and/or interesting approach. For instance, Ron bringing up all the baby stuff to freak out Dave is funny. I wasn't a huge fan of the Ricki Lake interview, but that's just me. The show is varied enough that no one is going to like everything.

Freitag
01-09-2008, 12:27 PM
Incidentally, I've enjoyed the breaks R&F do as Dave starts to get ready for the baby. His on-air cluelessness makes it more funny to me, because I know I'll probably be exactly the same way.

Casey, you can't think that discussion about the baby will "jinx" you. If anything, it's been about 90 percent positive vibes, which can't be a bad thing. If anything, I think not talking about it makes it more negative.

I can't wait for more talk about this. It's a new evolution of the show I've been enjoying. The show grows with us.

the rikki lake thing didnt impress most people, i would have to say, but i like that they talk about this baby shit, cause i know if others would try to tell me i probably wouldnt be as interested. sad on my part

Just speaking for myself, I'm enjoying the baby talk. Of course, I'm biased as I'm due not too long after Casey, but again, I'm just speaking for myself.

What I do like about it is that you actually get Ronnie B to pull back the curtain a little bit about his own life. Im not lucky enough to know these guys on a personal basis as some of you do and to hear Mr B let us into his personal life even to such a limited degree adds to the interest in this show for me. Ron seems truely moved by the miracle of children and thats pretty cool to me.

PS
I guess I am in the minority with my original post/opinion

Does any one want to hear about straightening teeth? Its fascinating!

Casey and Dave, I don't know the both of you. When Dave announced you two were expecting, I was estatic!! My sister at the age age of 45 decided to have a baby. Christopher Robert was expected to come into the world on 4/21. He came into our life on 4/11 last year. All 9 lbs of him. He has two step brothers 19 & 21. We all adore him. I wish the two of you the best. I see the joy in my sisters face when she is with him.

Your right , anything can happen up to 4months! Dave really should not have annouced it so early, that being said you have to think positive, and that goes for both of you Dave. And it wouldnt hurt to lay off the booze if you really are thinking of having a second one, Dave. I was there at the delivery for both of my 2 children; and it is a beautifull and magical sight to behold. I was even brought to tears. Please think positive and GOD bless you`s both with a healthy baby.

I loffed.

I feel like they are jinxing me.

Wife and I are expecting our first (girl, too) second week of May. We spent a couple years trying and doing a few fertility things, and have been high risk, so I can completely identify with the anxiety.

Sent Dave a PM about it, but it seems I feel only two things: excitement, or anxiety. If she moves, it's excitement. If she doesn't, it's anxiety and doubt.

I think what I've learned so far is to get used to the anxiety, because even if she's born perfectly healthy, there will always be a reason to be anxious with a child.

This is why I advocate SSRIs! ;-)

Best of luck to you and Dave. Here's hoping both of our little girls are healthy. I'm not worried about us being good parents.
