Tomorrow, Friday, January 4, 2007, Ron & Fez will be airing the Big Ass Bash from noon until 2:00 pm. Considered by some to be the best Ron & Fez live event ever, the show aired once exclusively on FreeFM and was never broadcast on XM. The centerpiece of the show was, of course, the seemingly impossible battle between East Side Dave and the Midnight Rider. Featuring also appearances by Anthony Cumia, Dawn Cumia, Sleeves, Perrynoid, Sleeves, Paul O, and Art of the Topless.

The FreeFM Show had more commercials, which = less show. Also, they may be cutting out the pre-recorded pre-show segment that started the broadcast.

I remember my singing was BRUTAL that night! I had no monitor, and I was handed a mike that went right out over the air-- it wasn't part of the music mix.....the technical term is "ducking", I guess. Whatever- who cares? I can't believe the Bash was almost a year ago. It was an incredible night and also marked the first of AOTT's many appearances over the course of 2007. We'll always love Ronnie and Fezzie and the entire staff for giving us the opportunity to play that night.

As much as Earl sucks, he really pulled through with the Big Ass Bash. Granted it was last minute chaos like the Olympics in Greece, but it came away just as good. Hate to say it, but great job Earl.

i cringe everytime i hear that audio.
a) earl cant sing. really.
b) they gave him an air mic, not a stage mic. it had a compressor on it, so when he (gulp) sang, it squashed the rest of the band in the mix.
