I need to find a reliable website that rates products. I want to buy a room air cleaner, like the honeywell or ionic brands, but am wondering if they actually work and if so, which is the best. Anybody have a good website to check stuff out?

You mean, the best company that takes money from companies to review their products?

Now that, I did not know... I just remember reading the magazine when I was a kid.. my Dad subscribed to it. Always seemed a balance of good vs. bad products.

They're all biased ... Consumer Reoprts may take money from companies, but companies have people fill out positive reviews of their products on the major sites. If I am making a major purchase I hit Consumer Reports and then as many sites as possible with customer reviews ... but I know going in they're all biased.
