Yep. The "Fan" Boards are being contacted to join in on the fun. Most, including this one, have been contacted already.

It's an open invite to All Fan Boards who want to Unite for the love of The Ron and Fez Show.

Wackbag, RadioGoldFans, And RonandFezFans.com are in so far. This is our first party, so i know were excited. Can't wait to hopefully have the grandaddy of all Ron and Fez Boards with us, RonFez.net.

OTL, an acronym for Over the Limit was a spawn of Froy's and not really OA related but more like a girls of FBA thing that Inky has going. The banners and links for the site that overtook the board annoyed many because the girls were not really that attractive, and the attempts at being almost "Maximish" fell flat.

Many felt that Froy had given up on OA.com and focused his attention on OTL towards the end, allowing agendas of others to take over the board.

Mostly right. Froy didn't really come up with OTL himself....

I was at a job fair and I saw Corpsegrinderjunk there. I talked to him for a while and said "hey, why don't we try to start our own thing?" I made a post on OA.com that night about starting a project and spoke to quite a few people about doing it (the only person still around is Gonzostyle). One of the people was Froy, and he and I bounced ideas for a while and came up with doing a portal site that was adult oriented in a Maxim style.

Most of the ideas didn't come from Froy. I recall Gonzo having quite a few ideas, myself, and Raven. In fact, I didn't know till afterwards that the reason he wanted to do a portal is because after the internet portal burst, internet advertising dropped and IGN dropped most of their advertising program, including the advertising for a certain South Park website. Out of spite, he wanted to compete with them.

At the end of a meeting with him, I asked him about stock in the site/company, which he had "promised" me. At which point, he pretty much pushed out anyone who supported me as part of the project, then me.

It was obvious that Froy didn't know what he was doing when the site finally launched, and he couldn't figure out how to get it working. There were some decent writers there, but the site had no voice, and the only thing that was really getting views were the pictures of girls (Something Froy didn't really want to do when it was brought up. I want to say it was my idea, but I don't remember entirely. I do remember it wasn't his.). Ultimately, he had "Miss Bear," and underage cam girls he got off messageboards related to such. The original idea was to use professional photography, and have original content, but this brings us back to Froy not knowing what he was really doing.

Ultimately, we all just counted down from the day the site launched until it crashed and burned. There were some really great ideas and possiblities, but with all it had going for it, it had Froy working against it.

Seeing as how NONE of the messageboard/paltalk bullshit has been discussed on air, what does it have to do with Ron and Fez or Opie and Anthony fandome at all?

I haven't stopped listening to either show even after being banned from the live room on paltalk, wackbag, having someone insult me because of our dismal financial situation and wish death on my husband. What Frenchy and others did with the SS# hasn't made me HATE the show.

Why throw a party to "Unite" people around issues that they have no clue about? In SIX years, no one ever once took attendance at a function and checked off what board they were "affiliated" with so why the fuck is it an issue now?

My official reply to a party involving Wackbag and certain specific people right now is:

Fuck you , you can't fuck me over and then throw a party for yourself that I have to attend so that if I don't attend I'm the asshole.

As Casey already eloquently said, I strongly dislike - spell it out - STRONGLY DISLIKE your girlfriend. I find no redeeming qualities about her, and in fact, I'm pretty sure that she would start talking trash about me as soon as I turned my back on her, and probably look my wife over for any bruises to see if she can blame those on me.

Pretty much everyone here has had great parties for 7 years now. No one has ever kept track of who did or didn't go to what event, people just had a good time. And guess what, half the time they were parties where (gasp) Ron and Fez didn't go, and we just had a good time amonsgt ourselves. With no promotion or Tshirts, or plugs.

I don't think we need any help uniting.

Story time:

At Silera's birthday party, I ran into someone I hadn't seen in a while. I introduced myself, and the person in question got a pissed off look on their face and said to my face, "Oh, I don't like you very much" and sulked away.

It annoyed the HELL out of me. I was pissed for a few days after it happened. But the more I thought about it, the more I respected the person for doing it. It may have been totally uncivil, but it was real, and I can deal with that.

To answer the thread question: no I am not afraid to go into the studio. For RF, it's simply name and forum name. That's it. I like R&F process. The O&A process seems just too much for me. I wish R&F had more days like the last day of the year where all the fans can come and watch the show from the bleachers. Best day of my vacation.

There were some decent writers there, but the site had no voice, and the only thing that was really getting views were the pictures of girls (Something Froy didn't really want to do when it was brought up. I want to say it was my idea, but I don't remember entirely. I do remember it wasn't his.). Ultimately, he had "Miss Bear," and underage cam girls he got off messageboards related to such. The original idea was to use professional photography, and have original content, but this brings us back to Froy not knowing what he was really doing.

Ultimately, we all just counted down from the day the site launched until it crashed and burned. There were some really great ideas and possiblities, but with all it had going for it, it had Froy working against it.

I back up Jon, I don't even remember how the fuck froy became the head guy all of a sudden. I do remember us all being involved, then I got really sick and couldn't participate for about a month, then when I start feeling better and all of a sudden I hear "yeah froy fired jon". It was mainly jons idea and how the hell do you fire someone from a non-paying job and basically collective venture? Much like whatever froy touched, it was destined to fail, I did like the original intentions we had though, it coulda been a great site.

How the admins here made it a point to invite EVERYONE from ALL boards?

How Ron and Fez even made a promo inviting every single board?

Was that not a Unity party without announcing it was?

If I recall... no one from WB or STI showed up. Including MLC...

Yeah, but that's fine. You open up a party to everyone and whoever wants to show up shows up. Even if others are doing it, I'm not about to start taking stock of who did and didn't come to our parties.

Exactly! That's the point I was trying to make yesterday. But that party was a UNITY party without being called one, and people weren't disgusted by the premise.

Let's be honest with ourselves for a minute - to expect everyone in a group as large as Ron and Fez's fan base to like one another is unrealistic. People will always have differences. Democrats fight with fellow Democrats, Republicans fight with fellow Republicans. Teammates have brawled with one another. Obviously all these different people from different backgrounds will battle with one another at some point.

Would I prefer they kept their dislike private and not air it out in public? Sure. Would I expect them to act civilly toward each other when they happen to be in the same place at the same time? Absolutely.

So while I admire (and applaud) the sentiment behind a "Unity Party" I also know it's as realistic as World peace. Never gonna happen.

I'll party down with Ron, Fez, and all my fellow fans I've met through the years any chance I get. I'll even be polite to certain people I don't particularly care for. Will a party make me change my mind about those I dislike and all of a sudden feel the need to embrace them and become their best friend? Obviously not.

That's pretty much all I wanted to say.
