I like how Ron usually never acknowledges someone when they call in and immediately say "How's it going" or something like that. He just says Yea. It gets so old when people call in saying their stupid greeting when obviously it seems Ron isn't cool with it.

not really. Ron is the master. He runs shit, and doesn't have to hang up on or talk over callers to do so. I've never heard anybody get the best of him.

i don't remember what day it was but it was recently Ron asked Dave basically why was he fuckin with everyone but he never fucks with him (Ron). Not in those exact words but, yea. Dave kind of mumbled and changed the subject.

"how's it goin" is a standard greeting in the NY area. "Yea" is an appropriate response. no one actually wants to hear an answer.

From all the years of customer service i've had to deal with it was always great when someone didn't ask me how i was. Hi is fine, leave it at that stranger.

When people call in it's just a programmed habit in their head to say How's it goin? or Hey what's up? It's insincere. Obviously what is up is they're doing a radio show. It would be funny if when someone called in Ron actually said how he was doing etc. just to throw us off.

I always had the habit of saying "Hey what's up?" when I called in. I just never stopped to hear a reply, I would just go into what I'm calling about. What is so annoying is when callers say "How's it going?" then wait for a reply.

It's just an instinct/habit for people to start conversations with a greeting. Although I love when Ron get annoyed and hangs up on people because of it.
