I'd agree with you if it were the Anaheim Ducks, or some other shitty expansion team......
Nah, changed my mind. You're right. Attending a hockey game on Martin Luther King Day definetly puts him in the Charlie Murphy camp of famous people doing stupid shit in public to stay in the spotlight. He should call an airstrike in on his agent and publicist, I'm sure he's still got connections at the Pentagon.

General Powell is hosting Fellows from the Colin Powell Center for Policy Studies at The City College of New York. Named for the former U.S. Secretary of State – a CCNY graduate – the center is dedicated to helping inner city youngsters get the quality education they need to be America's next generation of leaders.
yeah, what a horrible cause! how dare he try to do something positive for inner city children!!!!
do people bother to read articles or do you go straight for the inane comments?

You either are an over-zealous Islanders fan, which I doubt because you are from N.C., or "don't get the joke guy"
Either way, I will apologize for not including a "waka waka" at the end of my post.

I don't doubt that he's helping people but its just amazing how he's doing it by appearing at a hockey game. This was a guy that could have been president and now he's dropping the puck for the Islanders.

Why be so cynical?
perhaps he was there for an interview after the puck dropped... he could have been there to go for the announcer.
He is very well spoken, it would be a good fit.
