Given the events of the past few weeks (and especially Sunday's 'Sit Down' debacle) I think it would be a cool gesture. Ron spoke the other day about how little the fan sites have to do with the actual show anymore and it's something I've noted for quite some time. It's only natural given the amount of time we all spend together - either here or in person. We've become real-life friends so of course our conversations and topics of discussion will branch out into many other areas. Maybe just one day off from posting would rejuvenate us and we'd focus on the things that are really important and brought us all together in the first place.

Obviously I can't force anyone to do anything, I just thought it would be a pretty cool thing to do.

Well thats sort of the problem that I see. I'm up for anything that will truely help out the show and the message boards. But it seems to me that this is just one more thing that will divide us. Just like Silera said on the show the other day (and i quote loosely because I don't remember her exact words) Anyone who didn't want to attend the unity party was being labled a hater. Now anyone who doesn't refrain from posting wednesday will be an asshole. Either directly stated, orthought of in the back of someone's mind.

I'll commit to not posting, but I doubt I'll be able to resist the temptation to at least check it out to see what is actually happening here.
