Opie and Anthony talked how they will be off in an AM station in San Francisco soon because they are highly sensitive.

Anthony discusses that he went to the range with his new FN FS2000 Tactical Semi-auto Carbine (http://www.fnhusa.com/products/firearms/family.asp?fid=FNF011&gid=FNG006) and accidentally shot the cord that hold the target up on Friday.

Anthony also talks about how he went out with his chick, Ziggy&staff, Danny and Marrissa to a strip club. He did not like that the strippers asked for tips after they performed and how he didn't tip certain people on Friday night. :drunk:

For Saturday, Anthony went to see the Little Mermaid on Broadway with his gal. :laugh:

They also interviewed Chuck Liddell (http://www.myspace.com/icemantv) from the UFC to plug his new book, My Fighting Life.

Opie, Anthony, Norton, Bob Kelly and Nick DiPaolo talked about the Democratic primary and went into how supposedly free thinking colleges censor comedians. Then they went how current TV shows present men and women and how most people are so inundated with that message that they don't notice it anymore.

Intern Adam came in with bunny ears and sung karaoke as was he had done on The Than & Sam Show (http://thanandsam.com/) last Saturday (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=64681). He was very grateful to be on air even if it was done to embarrass him.

If Obama wins the nomination I don't know if Anthony will make it till november. With Obama being in the news every day Ant is bound to let something slip that will get him in the news.

I am afraid you are right. This is a time when broadcasting on XM could be a bad thing. They can dump something stupid when it's broadcast on FM; it takes a lot more to do so on XM - They can pull it from re-broadcast, but O or A would have to dump it inside the XM studio for it not to go out over the air at all.

I would also say keep Patrice out of the studio; the only reason being that Ant (hell, everybody) feels he can say more racially charged stuff when Patrice is there.

Although race comes up more when he's around I find Ant is worse when he's not around. Patrice at least points it out and then they discuss in classy manner. When he's not there no one calls him out on it and he tends to forget where the line is. And besides I can't do without Patrice.

Actually, you are right and your explanation makes sense.

I was thinking from the standpoint that they seem to talk about race more when Patrice is in thus there would be more opportunities for Ant to say something REALLY stupid.

However, you are right; they have been talking about race/Obama/etc. a lot more recently and Ant probably brushes the line more when nobody is there to check him.

Normally, but there just doesn't seem to be the same level of excitement as they have had in past competitions. It almost seems to be a throwaway bit this time.
