i just joined netflix last nite, and loaded up on some movies.

is there anything about netflix that i should be aware of? i remember they were caught "throttling" customers, but for what i will be able to watch, i have nothing to worry about that.

New movies are released on Tuesdays. If there's a new release you really want to get as soon as it comes out. Put the movies you're returing in the mail on Saturday and move the new release to the top of your queue. Netflix will get your return on Monday morning and mail out your new release Monday afternoon eventhough the DVD won't officially be released until Tuesday.

Also always remember to clean that disc properly before you put it in your DVD player. Since these discs go through the arms of rubes, you have to remember that they do not take care of them.

Also, there is no porn on Netflix.

Netflix is fast too. I returned two movies yesterday at 2:30pm (that box has 5pm pickup) and I got an email this morning that they've got my movies. I should have my new ones tomorrow morning.
