I was referencing a scene in Animal house where Boon & his friends go to a
'Black Club" to see Otis Day & the Knights, the band that played at the Animal House's toga party. During a quiet moment Boon yells out, "Otis, my man," for which he receives a long, disdainful look from Otis, who has no desire for Boon's ingratiation. I have always considered it a very poignant moment in a very silly film & it seemed to me to fit perfectly in this thread which hasn't gone very well, much like Boon's comment. I could'nt give a fuck that you wish someone dead or call them names for a post, whoever that person may be, that says VOLUMES more about YOU than anyone else. I just wanted to point out that it wasn't thoughtless or malevolent, you just didn't get it... :wallbash:
