Well, we all know it is coming around. So what shall I do. I have been dating a young lady for a month and a half seeing her pretty regularly. So what should I do? What date idea? I was thinking some type of a one day mini cruise but I think it is too cold for that. So any ideas?

A one day cruise is nice, but you're stuck on the boat for the entire trip. If the weather or crowd sucks you are right in the middle. Why not get a limo or town car to drive the two of you (or another couple) around the city. You could pick her up @ work and surprise her or just tell her in advance. The manhattan dinner thing on valentine's day is rough. Picture yourself as a cute baby seal waiting to get clubbed.
Shop around for the car. A lot of companies are slow this time of the year. Take a guess why I'm posting on a sat. night

Actually I would suggest dinner at the Chart House in Weehawkin NJ.
Good food and AMAZING view of Manhatten across the hudson.

But you might want to call for reservations...at this point they might not be available.
But you never know.

Also...46th street between 10th and 9th Ave is called restaurant row with several options of style of food. (Brazilian, Irish Pub, Italian, Mexican, Spanish/Pourtugese, Asian)
Why not take her there and just tell her "you choose whatever place you want to eat".

And bring one rose...just one. Something simple.

I think she would really go for that.
