Does anyone else have days where you get a good thing going and then you get served shit right after. I got the job I wanted today and when I called the rents to let them know my mother says your grandfather (who is the closest person in my family I relate to) has lymphoma. I cant ever have a day where something goes right and nothing goes wrong.

I hope they caught it early enough and your grandfather will pull through.
Facing the mortality of those we are close to has a way of putting the truly important things in life in perspective.

Regardless of his condition and prognosis, I hope you can spend more time with your grandfather and that it has a positive impact on your life.
