Make no mistake about it, you can be banned from posting in the forum. People are not banned randomly or without due cause, so for the majority of you there is nothing to worry about. You can and will however be banned for the follow reasons:

Spamming (posting two or more of the same message in multiple forums, advertising your personal website or event, etc.)
inciting arguments or infighting
posting pornography
posting private information or photos of people without thier permission

Jim, don't worry, accidental multiple posts aren't a bannable offense. And if you're going to use another board member in your sig, you might want to get their permission in advance next time. (Yes, I see he oked it)

I, state your name, hereby pledge to never use a member of the board in my sig without consent. And to avoid posting disparaging remarks towards people on the board I think are deserving of the term "idiot", for I may very well be one of these people (I may need a mulligan on that one). I will give my all, to abide by the mods and admins rules, and no longer, shall I tell anyone to make their sig pic 300 X 100, for that is not my role. I shall not post spam in any thread, unless it is of a ham and pork shoulder nature. I shall post no pornography, for that is something you can email or IM me for, and I will oblige all requests. This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me.
