The Breakfast Club does a pretty good job even though its not a typical day of school. Rushmore is so hard to tell because private schools are all different.

It wasnt suppose to be a typical day it was saturday detention. my school had saturday detention and it was exactly the same as the movie with more kids. i remember getting a saturday detention and missed it when monday came around my vp gave me another for a total of 2. i missed it again and he gave me a total of 4. then i heard if i missed it again i would get suspended and the 4 saturdays would be replaced with the suspension. so i missed it again and got suspended and never had a saturday again. what would you rather do go in to school on saturday for 6 hours straight of detention for 4 saturdays in a row? or not have to do the saturdays and get a 3 day vacation at home?

I though Clueless was closest to my high school experience. Cause I drove a jeep and my dad was Carla's ex-husband on Cheers...

No it was 5. Don't forget about the one he gave you for asking if Barry Manilow knew the vp raided his wardrobe.

What high school movies get it right?
There is a great movie that takes places in Mid-70s Austin, Texas. Even though I went to High School in Early-90s South Carolina, Dazed and Confused is as real a depiction of high school life as anything before or after it. I identify so much with the character Randell 'Pink' Floyd as I too went from being an athletic standout, to hanging out with 'the Bad kids' smoking pot,etc... The filmmakers hit the nail right on the head with Dazed and Confused.

13 is certainly an age that many enter high school at...especially if they are supersmart...then that's an age some enter college.....

I saw I Love You Beth Cooper.
It has massive destruction, improbable hookups and insane behavior.
It could only happen in high school.
