Did anyone see this special last night? It was hosted by Lewis Black on the History channel and it was pretty interesting and funny. I was literally crying at some points. I'm not sure when they're replaying but if you catch it you should definitely check it out. Keep an eye out for Bob Kelly.

i THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD, I think it could have been better but they did not really over censor it.
I think that premise of the "Worlds Funniest Joke" was absurd as they first took all the dirty ones out....
Well done, Lewis was great, and obviously did much of the stuff off the cuff...I would like to see the uncensored version...
I also got a laugh when Penn started the "aristocrats" joke.

I dvdr'd it, but I haven't watched it yet. I just caught a few religious jokes and them talking about bombing and killing.

Yup, thing was pretty awesome, and Black was great too. Very cool idea for a show.

It was very good. The History Channel is usually 90% garbage these days, what with all the UFO and "monster" shows, but this stood up. Showed their really good series on the states and the presidents all day, too.

I thought the spot on William Henry Harrison was too brief.

Yeah, that channel has gone to shit. In this day and age of superstitious bullshit being forced into schools (hello, "intelligent design"), I can't stand this network giving that shit a "serious" presentation.

I liked it a lot! My close personal Myspace friend, the lazy-eyed Doug Benson let me know it was on about fifteen minutes in.
Yes, it hurt my feelings that the unfunny Kathy Griffin was representing for funny women.
But I thought Lewis Black did a great job, and there were some great comics giving great input - and I took unholy pleasure out of watching the open mike guy eat sh*t. Wearing a hat and a hawaiian shirt is the unspoken code for "I'm a new open mike comic!"

I really liked it. I was suprised O&A and Jim didn't see it and take some shots at Bob Kelly who had quite a bit of airtime. Lewis Black didn't mention it today until the dude from Lost brought it up.

It was interesting, but I thought the comedy that was featured was piss poor. It seemed like they went out of their way to put the worst jokes or bits in the feature, so much so that a lot of the comics featured came off as hacks.
