On Saturday, March 29th at the Crowe's Nest on the Upper East Side of NYC (1804 2nd Ave - between 93rd and 94th Street) will be the Davey Shower. This will be East Side Dave's last hurrah before becoming a father. It will also be the bar night equivalent of Dave and Casey's baby shower. Festivities start at 9:00 pm and go until late night. Happy hour drink prices will be in effect for the entire night. Food is served at the bar until midnight. Parking is available on the street or in garages. All are welcome.

Ugh. Look. It's a bar night. Sure, it's a bar night to celebrate the birth of Dave and Casey's child, but it is a bar night. Come or don't come. No one is expected to bring gifts. I didn't put the gift registry in my first post for that very reason. The thing is that lots of people have been asking the couple when the shower is going to be, and there most likely isn't going to be one, at least not for the listeners. For people who want to bring gifts or attend a shower, this event is for that too. The byob post was just a joke because, as noted in my initial post, the bar is implementing happy hour prices for the entire night.
