I actually want to defend what Pitzy was saying today, that he was serious about wanting to marry his chick.
Sure he said that he didn't feel like they were perfect for each other, and that they always seem to be trying to get the other to change... But I don't think that any one person is really perfect for anyone. There are people that are compatible with each other, and no one but themselves can really determine what level of compatibility they must have to be with each other. Pitzy said that he believed that despite their being at odds a lot, they have been growing up together (and growing on each other). Having someone to share the experiences of maturing makes a really strong connection, which can make a relationship strong, even when it looks like they are frequently looking for things to argue about.
Also, he says they have some sort of 'love-hate' relationship. Some people (Fez) would say that there is no room for hate in a relationship, especially a marriage. Pitzy, however, said that it was mostly love, and I think he's on the right track there. A real realtionship should have a full range of emotions and feelings over time. Hate is certainly a real human feeling, and moments of it are innevitable... to think otherwise is unrealistic.
So... I said 'real' several times, but I guess that's i'm getting at. Pitzy's in a real relationship, and it's not perfect. Of course Ron's right that talking to someone is a good idea, but it's probably a good idea for anyone in a relationship.
I guess the most important thing to take away from this is that I might be a homo because I've been worried about Pitzy getting his heart broken all afternoon.
