me and my brother are planning a lil' road trip to new york. we want to visit march 17-19 and are totally clueless as to lodging and things of that nature. Whats cheap? Whats a rip off.

The bottom line is that we are looking for suggestions. Hotels, hostels, bars. Also we want to make sure the show is live that week. anything would be aces.

Email Dave and Pitzy and let them know you plan on coming down to watch the show. As far as hotels go, you can get something in mid-town for around $200 (expedia has some). Bar 9 is a tourist attraction if you're a fan of the show.

Do a Priceline Name-Your-Own price for midtown Manhattan...should put you at The Wellington Hotel for about $115 a night. It's on 55th between 6th and 7th...about a 2 blocks from the studios. I stay there whenever I go.

I'm in the same boat, sort of. I moved up here to Woodside from VA mid February and am trying to visit the show. I was a diehard listener for the last year and a half but admittedly have been slacking a bit since I moved up here. What is the contact info for Pitsy or Dave?
