Black Phillip hand down is the best SNV show. All the other SNV shows are very entertaining, but only Black Phillip will help you with real world situations.

I don't know what's on this weekend - Mikeyboy hasn't posted a weekend schedule and the XM "interactive schedule" is f-ing useless.

But ralphbxny is correct; Big Kev is on Saturday night, but I am not sure how long his show is. I thought it was only an hour, but I could easily be wrong.

For some reason I just don't like Joe Derosa. His attitude and voice grate on my nerves.

I think Bill Burr is great and love hearing him on O&A or doing standup, but Joe Derosa sours the show for me. If it were just Burr or he brought in somebody better, I would like the show more.

Don't get me wrong - I listen to Uninformed whenever it is on. I just have to gut my way past Derosa.

I think about Bill and Joe's pairing every time they're on. They're destined for a legit show.

You are correct that Burr is the show but Derosa makes Burr better. Most of the better moments were because Joe lost his temper, took a fit, couldn't take the shots. You need someone who's gonna fuck up regularly but on occasion fight back with a good line. Joe's the perfect fit. Their bickering makes the show.

They haven't even remotely had a bad show yet but I can't tell if they could hold 3hs/day. I don't think working clean would be a problem either but start with a weekly show.

Patrice has a great show too that's destined for more if that's what he wants. See what happens if this merger goes through.

EDIT: I apologize to Joe for my less than glowing compliments.

That's partially my point (sort of).

OK, I mean that I can enjoy the show (in spite of Derosa) as a once a month, even once a week, show. However, I couldn't possibly listen to it every day because Joe Derosa bugs me.

I like the interaction that Burr and Derosa have - I just don't like Derosa all that much. As I said, his attitude and personality bug me. If Burr had somebody in studio that did the same kind of stuff but who was more likeable, I would be completely sold.

Of course this is all just my opinion - I'm sure there are a lot of people that really like Joe Derosa.

Full 3 hours.

Big Kev is the name of the show but it includes Matt Cipoletti & Mark Remo.

The things they have planned is to be talking about the new toys from Toy Fair and taking a phone call interview by Darwin Cook from DC's Justice League New Frontier.

I see your point about entertaining in small doses and I understand cuz I don't really like Derosa but again I think his obnoxious personality feeds Burr.

I'm not confident that Burr could hold it down alone and I think it's really hard to find a partner that won't disappoint. If they did get a daily gig I think Derosa would hang back just a bit and fill that air with 3rd mic and guests.

My favorite SNV show is Dr. Steve's Weird Medicine. I love it and just wish it was on more often.

I like Patrice but his last virus show seemed to be a mess and very disorganized. When he's on O&A he's priceless. Left to his own devices he comes off somewhat scattered, at least to me anyway.

I really gotta give it to Dr Steve. He's only had 2 (I think) and they were highly entertaining. I honestly think out of all the shows, besides High Society, Dr Steve should get more shows. He's completely different then any of the other shows.

i was just going to start a thread on how much i HATE the saturday night virus. hate, hate, hate. it doesn't matter what you put there, i will still hate it on principle. i understand giving people a chance to get exposure for their show, but not prime-time on saturday. do it sunday morning at 9 or 10. nothing worse (in context) than driving around on a saturday night, wanting to tune in some o&a or r&f and getting....big kev. ugh. nothing against any of the people doing these shows, but it's not the slot 202 should be experimenting in.
