what's with the new drop after the opening song? the show always used to start on an upbeat note after the music. now after the music, the mood comes to a screeching halt with that drop and the show starts off with no energy. i think the show would be better served to dump this drop.
what say you?

huh?
lets get down to it, then lcd soundsystem, are you complaining about the lcd sound system or the "lets get down with it"?
and what halt? the drop goes into more music.
???
I dig that LCD Soundsystem "North American Scum" drop.
It's a great transition to me.

I like the new drop.
And I wonder if its a thing to make the show look more professional, or something. Like they have the same intro song every day.

PWEI Go Bragh! I spent a whole summer with "This Is The Day" buzzing in the background. It seemed like my friends and I were never unstoned enough to get up and change the record.
Have you heard the LCD Soundsystem double LP "45:33" (John Cage piss take) which was put together in conjunction with Nike; designed to be music to run to? There are some pretty good dub versions of tracks off of "The Sound Of Silver." That old fucker rocks!

...at first I felt the same way - the opening song is through, why is another song starting that totally changes the mood and then just fades out? But after a few days, I came to actually enjoy it; and now I luv it, look forward to it, and find myself singing along. And then to find out that it's also the beginning of that great North American Scum song just makes it even better. Luv that song, and thanks to Mooch for turning me onto it...

Hey Buddays... Was wondering what that song at the opening was for the show... glad to find it out here! LCD North American Scum...
...I thought it was another group...if you like the first 30 seconds or so of the song, look for a song from Lemon called "Won't you join me for a drink"... very similar beat and sound, but a whole songs worth...
