Seriously, I have never heard a producer more adept at bringing a show to a screeching halt or not even liking the show as much as Al. I've talked to him on the phone for winning an mp3 player, and I was surprised that he didn't have that monotone voice as much as he does on the air, and people meet him and say he's not that bad and all, but fuckin' A Al, get some balls! No one has any respect for him at all. Do you think Rick would put up with that shit? Even the girls from Florida that knew R&F back there were laughing at him.
He ran some other radio show into the ground before R&F.
He won't book guests because they "ruin" a good show. He won't help people get their headphones or mic set up. He rarely pulls appropriate background music. He doesn't think three steps ahead. And then there's the thousand yard stare. Just Ron saying "don't make me produce the show from here" should be enough to get him off of his ass. Yet, it doesn't. And we all see how talented he is with coming up with bits and contests.
Goddamn...Dumpy was stupid, but he did actually do something now and then.

Apparently having other shows producers there as a guide haven't helped at all.

The only excuse for all of this is that it's all just a bit. But something tells me that's only wishful thinking.
