they are so much easier replaced than an actual band member though... so I refuse to count them as member of the band.

drums and bass are the most important.
songs don't sound very good without rhythm...

You can have the greatest singer guitars keys bass and it all sounds like shit if the drummer cant lay down a groove and keep it in time.
