heavy handed mods were banning folks left-and-right last night for making the board "nearly unreadable" while others saw it as a fun exercise that was squashed for no reason. so, do you think our mods should limit our freedoms to protect us from ourselves?

Polls are an excelent way to waste time and thats what we all wanna do anyway..Unless you happen to be Marc with A C-ock, then you may wanna waste your time with a different kind of pole.Or perhaps your're a high priced hooker then you'd be spending your time on yet another kind of pol.. It's all good.. Polls will be poles will be pols..They're all gifts from God..

No. They should not.

The bannings yesterday were ridiculous. The mods had days of notice before the proposed "Night of 1000 polls". It was a great idea, limited to one day, where we could take this wonderful, but sometimes monotonous, message board and have a little bit of silly fun with it.

The board wasn't "unreadable" and I highly doubt we lost any new members because of the days festivities. We don't have a "Bizarro" or "Mantown" here... so of course every now and then we are going to want to get our rocks of in a more outlandish way from time to time. It's just human nature.

That being said... I am having fun here again. Maybe this Gvac Lent thing really was a good idea!

Some of the polls were silly and senseless, but others were pretty funny. It was only 1 day and fun.

I enjoyed it.

No. There should be no need to limit anything. If you have a good idea, fine. If you are just making it for the sake of making...

I agree with the mods

The last banning had me thinking, maybe the mods are right about everything

Hmmm that seems like an attack on me.

I think Night of 1000 Polls was great fun. Many posters got involved that never even start their own threads. We had Veterans and Newbies all joined together in the happiness and community of poll making. The board activity had to be much higher than any normal day. I thank everyone that joined together to make it a success.

you sir were treated as a visionary

I was banned, left in the freezing cold with only a half shirt on , one mod touched me in a no no area, so I'm sorry if I am all for limits on polls
