Why do we humans feel the need to label everything and everyone and put them in a neat and tidy package?

Will we ever be able to stop this nonsense and not feel compelled to categorize everything?

Do we really need African-Americans, Italian-Americans, Asian-Americans, Irish-Americans, etc? Can't we just all be Americans?

Does rock and roll music really have to be broken up into a million categories such as classic rock, punk rock, alternative rock, grunge, etc? Can't a radio station just play good music, regardless of what sub-category it belongs to?

If we don't stop searching for reasons to seperate people will we ever be able to bring them together?

Great question, honestly I think it's because people are naturally afraid of what we don't understand. Trying to categorize it makes it's easier to ingest. The major problem is that we also get used to things quickly and don't like change so ...American never really becomes "American". Don't worry brother maybe one day we can.

Why did they take tags off of t shirts and print it on the inside back? Worst idea ever. Who minded that tag anyway? Was it so unbearable? It is now a pain in the ass to tell which side is the front of the t shirt when you put it on.
