I'm flipping the channel and I see Steve Guttenberg on prime time broadcast TV. I looked at my watch and it didn't say 1986.
I know its only 'Dancing with the Stars' but could this be the start of a comeback?
He seems like a nice enough guy and there's always a niche market for the sort of corny 80's star. If Swayze's in the news albeit for cancer and Doogie Howser can be the best character on television, is the room anywhere for Guttenberg?

thats not a completely obscure reference but its still weird that you both went for it at exactly the same moment.

Creepy, actually.
Back to Guttenberg, I listen to podcasts of the Adam Carolla show and Tom Selleck was recently on and Guttenberg's name came up since Carolla is also going to be on Dancing with the Stars (I'm still not going to watch it).
Selleck and Carolla both said the same thing, Guttenberg is one of the nicest guys in the business. I'm all for a nice guy getting a second chance...

Carolla will get bounced immediately.
I'm a HUGE fan of his and even I want him off the show. He's wasting the judges time, his time, and mine.
His partner is shockingly beautiful. I'd never seen her or the show until yesterday. OMG.
The Goot was very likeable. I'm sure the audience will find him endearing. By this time next year... he'll be a correspondant on E! or TV GUIDE or somethin'.
