I gave it to my sister in law for Christmas. She's raising 2 of my nephews. I actually spent Christmas break reading it myself. Very important book for anyone raising a male child.

yeah, asses up, or just ass. We had two versions of Dodge Ball. In elementary school we played Jail. Two sides, people who get hit, crossover to the other end and go to "jail." You hen have to throw all the way over the other side to get your guys out of jail. Then in Middle School we played actual Dodge ball but it was called Scatter.

I got's a lot of family that needs to make the choice to change too.. Nobody can do if for them either. Unfortunatly, none of them have changed, they just talk about it. It really gets tough when you stop paying attention to the drama that unfolds from choices they should not make.

I usually end up saying Ron's line "It don't make you a bad person". It gets tough when you won't loan someone money or your time, or you don't want to bother with them during the holidays.

At a certain point I feel guilty, but wtf else can I do, they are not going to change until they die. Throwing money on them just makes them avoid the inevitable, that they need to change because they want to, not that they ought to..

There is a point where you have to be willing to take a step yourself in order to get better. No amount of talking or prodding will do any good unless you want to help yourself.

Hopefully Fez will have reached that point now, but it is entirely up to him. Others can't do it for him without locking Fez up someplace where all aspects of his life (diet, activity, etc.) are controlled.

I'm not 100% certain, but I am about 75-80% certain that's what we called it.

In August of 2001 my older brother died at 40 of a heart attack and from that point on I had to change the road I was on since a very young age.
I've been able to get to a point seven years later and not being on that road to death.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's a very hard road to get off and it takes a long time to realize.
So everyone that is saying we need to help Fez, he needs to help himself and then maybe people can be there for him.
Find the road you need to travel and don't look back.
