Vacation

I am thinking about taking a vacation by the end of this year so I can kick back and get away from all the awful things in life. Plus I have two weeks of vacation at work to use up.


What are your favorite vacation spots?

It was the best time I ever had and not that bad on the wallet. Croatia is not on the Euro, so your dollar will work for you there.

I second that vote for Aruba... you can also take a small plane to Curacao from there.
Freaking BEAUTIFUL.

I also recommend Capri, Italy. Tiny island off the coast of southern Italy.... some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever witnessed.

If there are no kids involved, I would highly recomend a cruise to Bermuda...It's not really a family destination or a great party Island, but it's probably the most beautiful place on earth..It also has great golf courses and tremendous beaches..That's where Rouski and I are going on our honey moon..

I agree completely-- and I was only in Zagreb. I rarely had food so great for so cheap.

I just got back from St. Maarten last week. Aside from food being the only pricey thing, it was great. Check United, Continental, Delta and Jet Blue for flights. I found a cheap one on United with the e-fare specials.

I have never had a better vacation than when I went on a cruise of the Mediteranien. I used free tickets to get to Rome and got a great deal on the cruise ship thorugh Celebrity. If its in the budget, a cruise is the best way to travel... especially if you go alone.

If you want just one place to go and relax - with the absolute most beautiful setting in the world - Santorini, Greece is the most amazing place I have been, and could imagine... and I am not even Greek.
