One of the best films of the 1980s and one of the best imaginings of a cinematic world ever was Terry Gilliam's masterwork Brazil. It was also embittered in controversy at Universal. Anyway, for those who care the Cinema Arts center in Huntington (432 Park Avenue) will be showing this film December 12 at 6:50 and 9:35.

Son of a cunt, I've got to go. My favorite movie of all time.

Do I need to buy tickets ahead of time?

not really, it's an art house theater and it's not usually sold out.

One of those movies I always wanted to see, but haven't gotten around to it. It's really amazing what Terry Gilliam's gone on to do since his Monty Python days, and he was obviously a visionary back then, too.
Unfortunately, there's no way I'm getting into the city tonight. :-(
