After watching it again after so many years I never knew how many things about that Corey in the movie screamed GAY. Yea, it was the 80's and he was from a hip Phoenix, but damn... those clothes.

I had read he couldn't get the visas required for him to work in the US in time to film the movie. Silly Canadians.

I caught the first 20 minutes of this while at Comic Con last week, and finally had to leave before either Corey showed up on screen. The pre-credits sequence with Tom Savini was actually kind of cool, and the film looked really slick on the big screen, but even with Corey F. in the house, with most of the rest of the cast, I couldn't take a second longer - hideous script - insipid plot set up - the fact that Corey Feldman was the big ace in the hole star - I will go out on a limb that I never thought the original was that great of a film (I'd take "Fright Night" any day), but it had its charms; this stripped that all away.

The lines in the movie were so bad, I was sure the audience would start laughing at any moment, but I guess with all the people from Warner Premiere there, the director and the actors, people were just too politie or nervous - or were actually into it.

Just a piece of shit.

Yep on gore, Haim and nudity. But Haim doesn't show up until the end, after some credits, and is featured in two alternate endings.

Finally got around to seeing this.... it wasn't terrible.
