I will be making a final decison on Gap in the next couple of weeks but no....I not releasing it on hulu. My problem is I'm overwhelmed with tons and tons and tons of work and it's difficult to focus.

Anybody know Hulu's secret? How are they giving all this shit away for free? I understand there's embedded advertising in the videos, but still... cable TV has advertising, that's not free... and cable On Demand services aren't free. Where's the loophole?

hunnerbun

I suppose I could but it must recognize IP's. I didn't sign in, I just tried to and it said right on the page US residents only, but then i tried to click one of the shows and got "Unfortunately this video is not currently available in your country or region. We apologize for the inconvenience"

From the site: (http://www.hulu.com/about)

Hulu was founded in March 2007 and is a joint venture owned by NBC Universal and News Corp. In addition, Hulu has closed a $100 million investment from private equity firm Providence Equity Partners.

Obviously the networks figured out that if they didn't do it...shutting down interwebz pirates would never stop.

yeah, odd they left fox out of that summary (it's supposedly them and nbc and others). here's a good article (http://www.slate.com/id/2187501/) on it (basically they consider it youtube pro).

News Corp == Fox

And it was a big deal when Hulu was a private Beta last year. They recently opened to the public and added alot more shows.

But I hang on to old technology remnants like audio cassette recorders,very little audio vinyl,cd's. I collect books too,and know that half of them I'll never read.I use the comp monitor more than any of them now and forever.It's not a flat screen.I'm wondering that when it dies,do flat screens also throw out enough heat to turn of my basement heater in winter? I haven't turned on the heat for the last 2 winters,warming my hands by the proverbial fire while comp surfing. Oh the occassional space heater too....but really do those flat screens get super hot? That new-fangled technology.:tongue::wacko: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a65/j3lehane/thIMG_2799crMarked.jpg How come all the RF fans that call in sound like they are dying? :thumbdown:
