I think it's time for a good change for everyone, instead of dragging so many dead horses with them.


In my opinion Fez should now work behind the scenes with whatever show(s) Ron moves on to next.

The real story is that they aren't getting picked up in the merger so they are trying to get Dave hooked up with O&A so he will be able to support his family.

Earl and Pitzy are lost causes no matter what happens, Lilly will find her own way and succeed at whatever her next choice is. Bronx Johnny will continue to work his full time gig and make an appearance on the O&A show occaisionally, Dave needs a push out the door before it's too late cause his loyalty will have him go down with the sinking ship.

Ron will hook up with his own afternoon drive show and feel like he never missed a beat by having to occupy 3 hours of show all by himself, Fez will work behind the scenes and grow ever more healthy day by day.

O&A will stick by The Ron Bennington show by dropping his name on a weekly basis until something Ron says is taken out of context and Opie's ego sends him out of control and he confronts Ron on air during the Ronny B show. Ron will demolish the O&A show on air, making all 3 look like asses (except Ant and Jimmy were unwilling participants in the whole assault). Opie will summon the pests to take on Ron, after 3 days of relentless attacks Ron will have the pests beat and they will then follow the Ronny B show, making unrelenting attacks on the O&A show until they have to close off the phones, instant messaging and Pal Talk.

After Wednesday's show I was sure that they were on their way out because of the merger. Now I'm not so sure, but things are a changing. If it is because of the merger I bet it will be Summer before they're gone. If there's even a small number of higher ups from XM left it's still going to take forever to make changes.

The point of a fan forum is to talk and speculate. There is no reason that people shouldn't be speculating on the end or the changes or whatever is going on in the show.

There has been a lot of strangeness going on in the show. Dave is being pushed away, for what seems like good reasons. Fez might be going to an over night mental facility. The barbs being thrown at Earl and Pitzy, are getting more and more negative and to be honest the company line of "We don't fire people" really needs to be reevaluated.

I don't get why people think that speculation is so bad. I know that most of you that post here are like mega fans, that hang out with the show and go to Bar 9 nights and whatever. I don't however think you take into consideration that there are some people that are just average fans of the show that like to listen, like someone who likes to watch LOST, or CSI.

So IF I was on a LOST forum, I doubt I would have any negative impact in the forum, or called a moron because I decided to speculate how the show will end or what is happening. I think sometimes you mega fans are so close the the cast of the show that you can't even imagine that there are people that are distanced from the show and enjoy it for purely entertainment. We don't consider the Ron and Fez show as an extension of our lives.

Also I don't think that you get speculation doesn't= attacking the show.

For me speculating on whether or not this is the end of the Ron and Fez show, is the same thing as wondering, if Ben is a good guy or a bad one. It is sad that more people don't get this maybe if they did there would be less negativity in the Ron and Fez fandom.

Ron has dropped mixed messages all week, while seemingly warning everyone off the sinking ship, he also says things about trades (why bring the 3 sams onboard a sinker?) and repeatedly tells Fez that when he's better he's gotta fix this or that. I think I remember Elo saying at some point in time that the 2 shows on 202 were always the top 2 on XM, Sirious is gonna want programing, why would they get rid of one of the top shows they're buying? Maybe the doom and gloom hints he throws are part of a negotiating ploy while the superagent works on a deal with Sirious, or maybe he knows that he and Fez are safe but the staff is expendable in Sirious's eyes. You guys might not have conventions but you have a ton of get togethers during the year. It was an attempt at a self-depreciating joke; trying to insinuate that i'm an R+F fan who thinks he's better than Trekkers (see, i even like Star Trek!) , but also can't get a girl even when paying. (which er, um, is a joke in my case, ahem, yeah)

It's pretty obvious with the timing of this that it has everything to do with the merger. If Mel Karmazin ends up running the show, he will get rid of anyone who makes Howie look like he isn't the best thing on satellite radio. He will probably just do away with XM202 by saying that they only need on comedy talk station. The FCC only allowed the licences for satellite radio by saying that no single company could own both licences. I hope they stick to that, but I'm not confident that they aren't as corrupt as any other political entity.

I would love the Ron and Mike show, especially the 9 minute comercial breaks every 20 minutes WJFK runs. Fez and Don can show up for an absinthe show every know and then.

I'm sorry if someone else brought this up in this forum, but I don't see anyone mentioning the fact that XM LOOOOVVVEEESSSSS the buddays. If anyone needs to be worried about losing there job to the merger it's the other guys, not the XM darling's Ron and Fez.
