This one is just too difficult - there are simply too many combinations that are delicious. you didn't even mention several:

Chocolate + Mint

Chocolate + Coffee (especially coffee ice cream with chocolate sauce)

Chocolate + Cherry/Strawberry/Raspberry

...and the list can go on. IMO it's almost impossible to choose a favorite. My mood and what I have been eating influence my Chocolate + ? desires.

Ever have chocolate covered potato chips? Sounds crazy, but they're amazing.

And I'm going to have to agree with MadMatt and the cherry/strawberry/raspberry thing.

Then again, just about anything covered in chocolate is going to be pretty damned good.

Actually a toss-up between peanut butter and pretzels... though the bacon idea intrigues me.

True. I am moving it.

And for the record, I say nipples. No joke.

Yes, and they were fucking fantastic.

However, chocolate and peanut butter rules us all with an iron fist and gentle fury.

Chocolate covered espresso beans?

To die for!

The only bummer for me is the texture. I think the FLAVOR is outstanding, but the "grit" of the bean is a little weird. I don't really like crunchy stuff though.

It doesn't sound crazy to me ... but I like chocolate covered pretzels, so maybe that's why.

Also, I like my chocolate best with chiles. (Target's Choxie line of "highbrow" chocolates has a $2 chocolate bar with chiles that is my kryptonite.)

Pretzels, crystallized ginger, peanut butter and caramel tie for 2nd. (Try the Choxie peanut butter pretzel candy bar...yummy-yummy.)

Dark chocolate-covered crystallized ginger = hubby-proof chocolate that I can keep in the pantry instead of stashed in the nightstand or the freezer

I like things that have a bit of a "bite" to them ... I also like those ginger-chew candies.

I know about Dagoba; they're in the impulse-reach spots at Barnes & Noble. Fortunately, I've noted the price tag before grabbing 6 bars and realizing I've spent $20 on chocolate bars.

Oh, what's money when it comes to chocolate? And, btw, I totally get the hubby-proof chocolate strategy. I still hate crystallized ginger though. I've given it so many tries. It's covered in sugar... it's GOTTA taste great... but it doesn't.

I think liking straight-up ginger helps. If you don't like that, no amount of sugar will make it right.

I also like pickled ginger... so whenever we get sushi, I get the rest of the hubby's pickled ginger all to myself.

And when I was having stomach problems a few years back, I drank ginger tea until I could get in to see a doctor.
