Hello,
Listen to O&A on friday and today like normal. For some reason for only a second I loose the O&A show, I get a beep and i pick up Howard audio....I thought it was because I listen with the FM tuner. But now I am listen to the show direct with my MYFI. am I going crazy or is anyone else experiencing this?
Just curious
Thanks

I've had that happen once or twice if the guy in the car next to me has Sirius.

Its happened several times over the past week. See last week's listening thread. Most likely it's just O&A fucking with us.

O&A are messing with us. You know someone would have called in to tell them "I hear Hoo Hoo during your show". They would have taken the call to figure it out.
They're having fun with us.

I don't know...how would a Sirus feed come over a XM Unit. Even after the merger the old units can not do that.
As for the car thing...I am using the MYFI like a walkman, I am in a building, not driving. I don't think they are messing with us. It is something else. Also it only happens in the morning part of the show..the FREE FM side.
At least I am not going nuts..

It's O&A screwing w/ people since the merger was finalized.

I heard it also, last Thursday.
I just assumed that they were doing system compatability tests for the merger.
Since they claim the existing units will receive both XM and Sirius programing,
It only makes sense that they would have to test the signal reception prior to the merger.

I read the opposite. That the existing unit's will not be able to cross platforms.
If O&A are screwing with us. I don't get the joke..or what the pay off could be.

Actually the XM and Sirius recivers are exactly the same, all the same technology, just a different signal. That is why people with XM get their signal overrun when someone in the car next to them has Sirius, because the Sirius signal is stronger.
As for what's been happening lately, that could just be O&A fucking around.

At the very end of today's O&A show they mentioned it. They were leading to it then of course they cut off. So now everyone is right..THEY ARE FUCKIN WITH US.
Still don't see the pay off but what do I know.
