Well, it was April Fool's Day and Sam & Erock being in Florida near the Tenth Anniversary of O&A's Mayor Menio is Car Crash Prank when the Boston mayor was in Florida and reported to be in a car-crash which enabled them to come to New York's WNEW from Boston's WAAF made it too easy to start it right before the show started. It could easily be disproved when they were heard describing their trip ..maybe some people should actually start listening to the show. :tongue:

I had also done somethings similar a few times some years back 2002/3.. but once again, it followed the theme of a car crash in Florida on April Fool's Day.

Both Sam & Erock were in Florida that weekend because Sam got Wrestlemania 24 tickets from Matt Striker in The Than & Sam Sam Show #12 (http://www.thanandsam.com/) . They took interviews of some famous wrestlers and partook in some benefits and were in the audience when the fireworks started going off but did not get to witness it initially because they were in a different section.
Sam & Erock were both on air that day and the AP story was obviously a fake. And I closed it yesterday when it was no longer April Fool's Day when it was over with.
And I have no problems with Sam or Erock. :bye:

yea it was pretty bad.

However even I can admit that the show and the psyche of the hosts have gotten better and more enjoyable to the fans. Who knows maybe Ant was going through a lot of crap with his relationship (see him ranting about his ex girlfriends mom the other day) and it help change him.

The CBS show is still unlistenable unless Vos, Patrice, or Burr are in studio but it is still a shit load better than their morning zoo period this past fall. They still like to attack any show that beats them in the ratings but I'll take that annoyance that smells of desperation over lets wake up our wife radio.
