It seems like the Brooklyn boys are on about every other day now. I dont mind it and usually like what they talk about but I cant stand it when they start talking over Ron or Fez (like "explaining" their jokes) when there is no need to.
It seems like all the people from Brooklyn have this problem, along with copying Anthony and Ron when they are on air.

I have zero issues with them in there together, or solo. It is just good to hear a black person form a sentence in that studio.

i think its just a given at this point that someone will hate whoever ron invites in studio to talk.

why don't you marry him?

drusilla
04-08-2008, 05:22 PM
i'm already practically married.

though i did tell my boyfriend that i would marry mooch if he needed to stay in the country.

i don't think mooch was too interested in moving to albany with us though.

Marc with a c

i'd choose a shanty in ireland, or the outback over albany. i guess mooch will soon be lost.

maybe dean or franklin will marry him.

i think its just a given at this point that someone will hate whoever ron invites in studio to talk. That's true, and there are some people that dont like cake.

I think Franklin sounds like Mike Francesa.

They seem like fun guys with logical points of views. They never claimed to be comics. What do you expect? These people are friends of Ron. He brings them on air because they add something that maybe you dont seem to get.

I think they are good on the air. They flow with the show. Usually wait for Ron to address them before talking. Besides, Ron is otherwise stuck with Earl, Fez, and Dave to try to make a conversation.
They are not like Zman who can get carried away with himself on the air.

Really?

I know the personality Fez is. He might be in a cloud right now but I would want his comic wit on the show above anyone.

Hey GAZ, good luck on Hells Kitchen.

Quote for truth. Remember those days?

I really wished you'd stop eating my fucking Nemo's cakes! lol

You are so right GAZ. Alot of the times it is the same few people. I don't really blame people for speaking thier mind on a public message board calling for the specific topics. In fact i noticed that most people will not jump out of thier seat to say "that person is cool" on a board, and the only time they want to say something is to say it stinks. Not that they are wrong, just that there are alot more nay sayers then lurkers reading and thinking posatively. (in my humble opinion)

Who knows what the casual listener who makes up the 90% of the majority fanbase thinks. (who actually knows if it's really 90%, haha)

I love hearing Dean and Franklyn on air. Apparently Ron does too.

I've been here a long long time and have seen everyone bashed on this site. From sweet melissa to myself, we've all had haters starting threads here. Then when you read those thread you will find 90% of the replys are supportive. There have only been a select few that have had the brunt of the board attacking them...

I'm not saying these negative point of view threads towards guests are good (because they arent), but if you read past the 3rd post, you usually can find the possitive. What I seriously hate is when people feel they need to put down the thread starter. It's just counter productive.

Why focus on that part, lol

Stop eating my fucking cakes!

And yes, i know many times the bashing is just in gest. Im just saying. you dont call up a customer support line and say "Hey verizon, i think you guys are doing a great job, my connection was fine today, thanks". It's just in people nature to express themselves when given a forum to complain or say something negative.

I could be wrong.

Oh i wasnt thinking of myself. I already know why i am sometimes lanbasted. We went over this in a diff thread. Very rarely you find someone who is trying to be a budday AND also sell a product at the same time. People dont always like that behavior. You are either a businessman or not.

Thats why Christopher Robert will never anymore try to sell you something except for his dumb posts!

Where did you get hate from this?

I like the cypher guys. I just find it odd it seems like they have been on every live show for nearly two weeks. Maybe they have some more stuff planned.
I just dont like the things I mentioned in my first post and as Ron pointed out the baby talk to Fez.

They have been doing a film project. That's why they've been there. At least, that's what I've picked up from listening. In any case, I like them. I've liked all of their input. Even Ron's comments about Dean's "not being the invisible film maker" to be highly entertaining. I'm really hoping this all leads to a great documentary about the Ron & Fez show, which is what I think this is all about.

Ok now having a chance to listen to the rest of the show. I hate Franklyn now for his insane 9/11 opinion.

Lol, I always get a laugh when people say things like "REMEMBER THE GOOD OL DAYS WHEN WE WERE ALL FANS AND THERE WAS NO FIGHTING". HAH! You think there is drama now, it was just as bad in 2001.

I guess I am reaching the part in my Ron and Fez fandom where I get bitter that some new personality is getting too much airtime. I remember being perplexed by how irritated people got by Dave or even Zman getting increased airtime. But now I find myself making faces to myself whenever I hear "The Brooklyn Boys are here" I really don't want to sound like one of those bitter, but why can't I be Ron's friend, people, but can't these guys take some time away from the show.

On the other hand, they need to get Mooch back in the US. I can't get enough of that man's Irish honesty. More Dublin, less Brooklyn on the show please.

I'm the opposite. I think Franklyn is so cuddly, but I've had enough from Dean. He sounds like a less-plugging Mafia Life Chris.

does anyone in Brooklyn have a job?
And Franklyn is yelling at Dave and being confrontation to Ron and Fez? Fuck that.
